I have a bit of a bio on my website which briefly mentions my where interests as, "I’m excited about GIS, GPS, and other forms of geodata and cartography. I can see this as a bridge between my current expertise — large data sets, data analysis, metadata — and my interests in sustainable systems and environmental conservation. I’ve started taking geography courses at Foothill College to deepen my understanding, while I also work on a weed mapping project and experiment with the GIS package GRASS."

I've recently most enjoyed the remote imaging project that involved classifying spectral response in LANDSAT imagery. I haven't programmed much myself lately but i can probably hack my way out of a very small paper bag, given enough reference texts or a Fortran compiler.

Should have chose a smaller photo. Ah well.
